I received a new ethernet cable for my Chromebook. I noticed that the ethernet connection is no longer working and my Chromebook is accessing the wifi instead of the ethernet.

Things to check if you assume your ethernet is not working properly

Check both ends of your ethernet cable that neither end appears to be physically damaged

Check your ethernet wall port, if neccessary try another port
